It's Michael Pollan's article in the NYT Magazine - an open letter to the future president arguing for substantial change in the way we as Americans talk about, produce, consume, and legislate food. It's not anything new for anyone familiar with Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, or Pollan's books The Omnivore's Dilemma and In Defense of Food. If you're interested in a short summation of those books as well as some policy ideas for the upcoming administration, look no further. I find the history of this kind of legislation really interesting, myself.
Now let's see if any laws actually do get changed.
